Exotic
As the name
implies, Anderson’s Exotic Collection offers consumers a choice of floors that
are a bit different from the styling and textures of traditional hardwoods.
Exotic species
have unique characteristics that create an allure and excitement unlike any
flooring you’ve ever seen. And with rich hues and deep tones, these floors make
the perfect complement to decors created by those with even the most
discriminating taste.
The remarkable
beauty of the Exotic Collection is further enhanced by Anderson’s modern
technology, which strengthens and protects the planks.
Floors in the
Exotic Collection are 8 times more stable than Red Oak lumber, and their
exclusive 5-ply Cross-Locked Engineered® construction also makes them up to 100%
stronger and more dent resistant than a solid wood floor.
Anderson’s

Rhino
Premium floors
with the exclusive RhinoPoly® finish have established Anderson’s reputation as
the strength and style leader in manufactured engineered flooring.
With millions of
microscopic aluminum oxide crystals embedded for extra protection, the finish
allows Anderson to offer a 25-year warranty against finish wear-through. Also,
the Cross-Locked Engineered® construction and Eagle Tongue and Groove system
assure successful installations under almost any conditions.
With 5 plies and
a nominal thickness of ½", these floors have the stamina to last a lifetime. The
Maple, Pecan and Oak boards are truly representative of the best that Nature has
to offer.
As the most
innovative stylist among wood floor manufacturers, Anderson realizes that many
times the old classics have earned their popularity for good reason. Durham, 5";
Covington, 3"; and Nantucket Strip, 2¼" wide, were part of Anderson’s first
plank collection.
While beefed up
construction and a superior finish have improved the end product, today’s
versions feature the same warm colors, Sand, Spice, Natural and Harvest.
Another old
favorite, Maple, is available in Natural, Honey and Burgundy in 3" width and in
Natural and Toffee in 5" width.
In 1992 Anderson
became the first company to manufacture engineered pre-finished Pecan planks.
Pecan became an instant best seller. Imitation and copy cat products erupted
like weeds. Today Anderson offers 3" wide Pecan flooring in a choice of two
profiles and 5 colors, Suede, Auburn, Cherry, Natural and Heather.
Mountain
Celebrate the
distinctive beauty and appeal of Nature’s real wood grain and unique character
marks. Made for people who cherish the ambiance of real wood with an antique
patina, Mountain Series Floors come in three distinct collections:
- Mountain Art
in Red Oak colors Golden and Chestnut in 5" widths; Maple Toffee in 3" width
and Pine Yukon in 4½" width.
- Mountain
Classic boards are in Hickory colors Golden, in 3" and 5" widths, and Natural
in 5" width. All offer a choice of eased or beveled profile.
- Desert Oak is
a 3" wide collection in Red Oak colors Saddle, Rawhide and Tumbleweed. These
floors add a touch of the Old West in frontier days. They are wire brushed and
blackened with an antiqued minimum gloss finish.
With 5 plies and
a nominal thickness of ½", these rugged floors have what it takes to last a
lifetime. They are guaranteed for 25 years against finish wear-through and have
lifetime structure and glue down warranties.
DellaMano
Skilled hands
masterfully wielding traditional tools handcraft each of our Dellamano boards to
be a unique work of art, for no two are identical. Dellamano, which in Italian
means “from the hands,” continues a heritage that dates back to the exquisite
sculptures of Michaelangelo.
Anderson
craftsmen continue the master’s art of seeing the beauty in natural material,
then bringing that beauty to light in the most intimate way possible – by hand.
The beauty is
backed up by 21st Century technology. Each 6¼" wide board is 5 plies and
Cross-Locked Engineered® to a full 11.9 mm thickness (½" nominal) before
scraping and sculpting. Every board is backed by a lifetime structure warranty.
The surface, hand-scraped into the rugged textures of a simple hewn floor, is
then hand-sculpted into the gentle contours of a floor smoothed by generations
of footsteps. This artwork is then coated with Duratina® low gloss satin finish.
The homeowner
protection package includes a 25-year warranty against finish wear-through and a
lifetime glue bond guarantee in addition to the structural integrity warranty.
Dellamano floors
come in Maple colors Amaretto, Cafe Nero and Riscotto; Hickory colors Frangelico,
Espresso, Campari and Biscotti; and one color of Oak, Cappuccino.
All species and
colors are available with or without square black walnut pegs which add to the
ambiance of a hand-crafted floor. They can be glued, stapled, nailed or floated
below, on or above grade.
Arid Reserve
All wood is
negatively affected by prolonged exposure to low humidity, some species more
than others. Anderson has selected the top performers for inclusion in the Arid
Reserve Collection.
Special displays
for Arid Reserve are offered by distributors serving areas with low indoor
environments, including the desert Southwest, cold Northern states and Canada.
Even in mixed displays it is simple to select flooring suitable for extra dry
conditions – just look for the Arid Reserve logo shown above in the Anderson
price list. Proper selection of flooring will prevent problems in the future.
