Company History

On April 1, 1989, CMH Flooring Products, Inc. began its operation in Wadesboro, NC, as a distributor of carpet cushion.

In the spring of 1991, the company occupied its new office facility on Hwy 74 West in Wadesboro and became a distributor for The Congoleum Corporation with a territory that covered all of North and South Carolina.

Since that time, there has been a steady growth in all aspects of the company. We have added many new product lines in addition to Congoleum sheet vinyl and tile.  We now distribute Tarkett, Anderson, Chelsea Hardwoods, Pergo, Quick-Step Laminates, Estrie, Toli, Burke-Mercer, Carolina Hardwoods, Carpet Cushion, Bonsal, Bretlin, Perfect Finish, Altro, Fritz, Ceres, Ardex Underlayments, ParaChem Adhesives, and flooring accessories. Our distributorship territory now includes, in addition to North and South Carolina, Georgia, a large part of Tennessee, Virginia (from Fredericksburg, south), 25 counties in east central Alabama and northern Florida.

CMH has continued to enhance its inventory and has added additional delivery trucks and thousands of square feet to our warehouse to offer superior service to our customers.

Today, we have facilities in Richmond, VA, Kennesaw, GA, Cookeville, TN, and Wadesboro, NC, serving over 5,000 retailers with their flooring needs.
